Scholarship: Corporate Flight Attendant

A scholarship for those who have lost their position through no fault of their own.

 *

Dear CFAT Scholarship Applicants:

It is with pleasure that we offer a four day Corporate Flight Attendant Training scholarship to a commercial flight attendant who has lost their position due to a department closing resulting in bankruptcy. I know what that feels like. In 1984 my airline, Capitol Air closed its doors much to the dismay of many employees. It was shocking. I felt like I lost part of my family as well as a job. I actually felt paralyzed until I realized that I was the author of my future and after my grieving process committed myself to becoming a Corporate Flight Attendant in the Business Aviation industry. There was a wonderful woman named Joy who gave me my first break in this industry. I want to give that break back to a commercial flight attendant that has no job and wants to fly corporate. Whomever you are, I look forward to launching you into a new career within aviation. Business Aviation!

Good luck.

SUMMARY
Avjobs is pleased to announce the 2009 Corporate Flight Attendant Training Scholarship (CFATS). This Scholarship is sponsored in full by Corporate Flight Attendant Training by Susan C. Friedenberg.

Avjobs sponsors aerospace students in efforts to assist in easing the financial burden of higher education and securing aviation specific employment opportunities after graduation. The 2009 CFATS program is a critical step in the success of any new corporate flight attendant. The CFATS program is an extensive four days of training that covers the skills and tools needed by today's corporate aviation flight attendants. It details the basic standard operational procedures that are utilized by most corporate aviation flight departments in the USA, from what a corporate flight attendant is, to initial trips from start to completion. Additionally, this training program enhances and prepares students for the interview process with corporate flight departments and fractional companies. Additional training information may be found at the Corporate Flight Attendant Training web site: www.corporateflightattendanttraining.com/CFAT_pages/syllabus.html

The selected recipient of this scholarship will have the opportunity to learn and gain educational experience through a four (4) day training class at the Corporate Flight Attendant Training by Susan C. Friedenberg location of their choice. Corporate Flight Attendant Training conducts regular training throughout the year at facilities located in Long Beach, California; Denver, Colorado; Teterboro, New Jersey; Atlanta, Georgia; and New Orleans, Louisiana. This scholarship is intended to cover the tuition costs of the four (4) day Corporate Flight Attendant Training course only. Recipients are responsible for any/all additional costs including, but not limited to, travel, lodging, meals, rental car, and related expenses.
