NBAA Celebrates 60 Years
The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) celebrates a milestone this month at its annual Meeting and Convention. The event held September 24-27, 2007, will help the organization and the business aviation industry commemorate various achievements in aviation, including the 60th anniversary of NBAA. Also celebrated is Georgia Flight 100, the 100th anniversary of the first powered flight in that state. The event recognizes Ben Epps entry into state history when he flew his monoplane in an open field in Athens. Noteworthy milestones from several NBAA member companies are also woven into in this year's theme. As with every installment of the famed business aviation gathering, several aviation companies will make major announcements during NBAA2007.
